Surrey Hills 3 Peaks Challenge Hike

Looking for the ultimate Surrey Hills adventure? Join us on the Surrey Hills 3 Peaks Challenge – a spectacular full-day guided hike covering approximately 40km and over 1,000m of elevation gain through some of the most beautiful landscapes in South East England.

If you want to experience the very best of the Surrey Hills National Landscape in a single day, this is the hike for you.

Our journey begins at the stunning Denbies Wine Estate, nestled beneath the North Downs. From here, we tackle our first summit: the iconic Box Hill. Famous for its sweeping views and dramatic escarpment, Box Hill offers a perfect introduction to the day ahead and a glimpse of our next destination in the distance.

The route then takes us south towards Leith Hill, the highest point in South East England at 294 metres above sea level. Standing atop Leith Hill Tower, you'll enjoy unrivalled panoramic views stretching across the South Downs and, on clear days, all the way to the London skyline. The hill's welcoming café provides the ideal opportunity to refuel before we continue our challenge.

Our third and final summit is Holmbury Hill, a historic Iron Age hill fort hidden amongst the beautiful woodlands of the Hurtwood Estate. Rich in history and surrounded by ancient forest, it provides a fitting finale to our trio of peaks.

The return journey showcases even more of the Surrey Hills' finest scenery, following sections of the renowned North Downs Way and crossing the open heathland of Ranmore Common. Along the way, enjoy outstanding views south towards Leith Hill Tower and mile upon mile of rolling green countryside.

As the day draws to a close, we descend back to Denbies Wine Estate, where the vineyards provide a memorable setting to celebrate completing one of the South East's most rewarding hiking challenges.

Whether you're training for a mountain adventure, seeking a demanding endurance hike, or simply looking to discover the very best of the Surrey Hills with experienced guides, the Surrey Hills 3 Peaks Challenge promises an unforgettable day on the trails.
